Biographs:
Dr. Md. Dilsad Ahmed attended two of India’s top-ranked universities, where he earned a total of four degrees, including his Ph.D. He began his career as a physical education teacher and sports coordinator. His efforts were twice recognized with teaching awards. With an interest in advancing physical education and sports worldwide, and as a committed life-long learner, he pursued international opportunities in Canada, Macau, South Korea, and the United States, including post-doctoral research experiences. He is currently pursuing one more advanced degree (M.S in Kinesiology) at Oregon State University. His efforts have been recognized with multiple awards and honors. He also believes in practicing what he preaches. Toward that end, he participated in Athletics (track & field), Badminton, Cricket and Table Tennis at the intercollegiate level in India. Beyond this academic work, he has participated in various youth festivals as a musician and solo vocalist. His album, “Khubsurat SI” is available through Youtube (Search name: Dr. Dilsad Ahmed). Finally, and most importantly, he is a devoted husband, father, and family man.
